It is important to us to make your retreat experience easeful. We have cultivated a list of common questions that we get asked from retreat attendees. If your questions still aren’t answered here, reach out below + we’ll help in any way we can. Thank you for your interest in joining our Retreats!

 Things to know before booking


  • Retreat costs include all of your accommodations, food and yoga practices for the week. Most retreats also include all excursions (surfing, wine tasting, hikes, etc.). Some retreats (such as Morocco) offer excursions as an add-on which you pay straight to the resort upon checkout if you choose to participate. We also do our best to accommodate at least one complimentary transportation option between the closest airport and the venue. These details will be communicated upon booking.

  • The largest expense not included in your retreat are your flights. Massages, shopping, extra food outside of our designated meal and snack offerings, and transportation if you decide to leave the group and explore on your own (which is always welcome) are also up to you.

    Most retreats include all excursions, however some retreats offer optional excursions which you pay for only if you choose to participate. This will be made clear on the website per retreat.

  • Yes of course! Upon registration, you’ll share with us any dietary needs that you have, and we pass these along to our chef. We only hire chefs who can accommodate varying dietary needs

  • -Single occupancy rooms: You’ll have a private room to yourself. The cost you pay will include your solo-room, and all food and included excursions.

    -Double occupancy rooms: You’ll be sharing a private room with another attendee. If you are registering with somebody you’d like to room with, you’ll share this info with us upon registration.

    -If you choose a double-occupancy room without signing up with another person, we’ll pair you with somebody of the same gender.

Terms & Conditions

Retreat Booking Policy

  • A booking at Wandering Monkey Yoga is confirmed when a non-refundable deposit of 25% is made.

  • For all retreat bookings, the balance is required for full confirmation of the place.

  • Wandering Monkey Yoga lists what is included on the retreats. Additional expenses, such as airfare, travel insurance, and alcohol, is not included in the price.

  • Guests must obtain full & comprehensive travel insurance to attend the wellness retreat including, but not limited to, overseas medical expenses and evacuation, trip cancellation and force majeure events.

  • Guests must provide Wandering Monkey Yoga with full insurance details, along with a signed copy of the participation & liability waiver form.. Failure to do so results in a cancelation of the booking and forfeiting the paid deposit.

  • Guests must be at least 18 years of age to attend Wandering Monkey Yoga Retreats. Guests under 18 may be allowed to attend, provided they are accompanied by a guardian 18+ years old, and are to be approved by the retreat provider.


Retreat Payment Policy

  • The initial retreat deposit will be made via the retreat booking link.

  • The balance should be made via bank transfers. Account details are provided when making a payment.

  • If it is preferred, payment can be made via Stripe, however the payments will incur a 3% transaction fee.

  • A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

  • A further payment of 25% will be due 180 days prior to the retreat start date.

  • The balance should be paid 90 days prior to the retreat start date.


Retreat Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations and booking transfers must be received in writing via email to Wandering Monkey Yoga (tanitalessingyoga@gmail.com).

  • Deposits are non-refundable as we are responsible for paying vendors for your spot, even if you cancel. That said, we understand that emergencies & unforeseen events happens. Let us know as soon as possible for the highest chance of us finding someone to take your place.

  • If cancellations take place more than 180 days/6 months prior to your departure date, any payments made will be refunded, minus your 25% deposit.

  • If cancellation takes place within 90 days/ 3 months of your retreat start date, 50% of the retreat price will be forfeited.

  • If cancellation takes place within 30 days/ 1 month of your retreat start date, 100% of the retreat price will be forfeited.

  • Any amount forfeited, which has not then been paid to Wandering Monkey Yoga by you, will be recovered from you by Wandering Monkey Yoga as a debt due and payable.
